The food, service, and ambiance are wonderful. The fried deviled eggs and Prime Rib were excellent. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to North Carolina.

This place was awesome, right off the mountain from the resort/cabins so it's an easy drive to and from. Great atmosphere as soon as you walk up, they had a nice fire pit going that night. My party were originally sat at a tight table but when a larger round table opened up our server offered to move us which was very nice and he definitely didn't have to, it made for such a more enjoyable time. The food was spectacular from start to finish not to mentioned the drinks were top notch. First time ever having escargot and I have to say y'all might've set the bar a little too high, the butter sauce and puff pastry on top really made this my favorite new experience! Seas scallops and butternut squash risotto are simply two things I can't pass up and boy am I glad I didn't. Melt in your mouth scallops and the creamy risotto was a perfect pair. My buddy got the NY Strip and stated it was one of the best he's had in a long time. I can't recommend this place enough for a cozy, sophisticated yet inviting dinner.

Walking in is dream like in a mountain town. Outdoor fireplace lit with lightly dusted snow from the night before. Appears the outside area is dog friendly but no heating lamps (I didn't ask, just saying what it didn't appear to have) and it was 25 degrees outside. Immediately greeted by 3 people at 5:30 on a Wednesday. I asked to be seated at the bar since I was singular but they had that closed for seating for the Annual Chamber dinner. They did inform me it would get a bit loud around 6, which was kind. Sat towards the stairs area, which was quaint and only sat a few tables. Doesn't have a partition for noise but they do have a curtain. With that room full of people next to where I was sitting is noisy if you're wanting a romantic dinner, but solo I love the gossip. Haha. The waitress (Reagan) was so kind. She filled me in on the specials and I chose the halibut. But started with the bread and escargot. Bread and butter, how do you really go wrong, but the escargot with pastry on top tasted like dirt. Now hear me out, I eat a lot of escargot and I realize they live and eat most things like dirt. But out of all the times I've had it, it's never tasted like actual dirt. I pushed it aside and told my waitress to keep it on my bill, but I didn't finish it. She kindly took it off anyhow. For an entree I ordered the special halibut and creamed spinach. Both DELICIOUS. The fish was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was perfectly complimented. The creamed spinach is my type of salt level, but if you're sensitive to salt, it's apparent. Ordered the Mississippi Mud Pie for dessert. I'm not a huge sweet eater but I love a good bite or two. Worth ordering and taking to go if you're nearby. Ice cream in the middle.

Was in town for a bachelorette party, and decided to have our final dinner here. We were not disappointed! It was easy to make a reservation online. We had the French onion soup, which was delicious, and each one of us ordered a separate type of steak, all with great flavor. Only possible downside is one of the steaks came out room temperature and not hot but the restaurant quickly corrected it and took it back to the kitchen.

Great dining experience! Our server Cambry was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu. She answered every question with ease. Service gets a 5/5 The atmosphere was awesome. Newly renovated and very inviting feel. 5/5 The food was almost perfect. We started with crab stuffed mushrooms which were phenomenal, and the lobster bisque. My dad ordered the prime rib cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The only complaint about the dinner I have was my ribeye. The flavor was that of a traditional salt and peppered steak. The quality of my specific steak was not great. Very full of tendons which made it hard to chew. I don't want to say I was disappointed but I wasn't stunned with it in comparison to other cuts of meat I have had. The Brussel sprouts on the other hand were amazing. The mashed potatoes were good but not special. Overall I give my personal dish a 3.5/5. The liquor selection was phenomenal as well. Much to chose from and signature cocktails looked amazing! Next time I'm in town I'll definitely go back though!

The food was excellent, the deviled eggs are amazing. The rest of the menu looked great if it's anything like the fish though it is $$$. Reagan our waitress was wonderful, made sure we had everything we needed. I was also impressed how she knew without hesitation all the specials and specifics. Amazing service. The restaurant was very nice casual but would also be a place for a special night or gathering. The atmosphere is quiet but also has the atmosphere of gathering with friends. If in the Banner Elk area a must visit.
